A young Catholic couple tragically dies in a car accident on their way to get married.
Moments later, they find themselves at the Pearly Gates, waiting for St. Peter.

While sitting there, the bride turns to the groom and asks,
“Do you think we can still get married in Heaven?”

When St. Peter shows up, they ask him.
He scratches his head and says,
“Huh… no one’s ever asked that before. Let me check.”

And he disappears.

Weeks pass. Then months.
The couple starts wondering, Do we really want to do this for eternity?
What if it doesn’t work out? Are we stuck married… forever?

Finally, after 3 months, St. Peter comes back, looking exhausted.
“Good news,” he says. “You can get married in Heaven.”

The couple cheers — then the groom hesitantly asks,
“Okay but… what if it doesn’t work out? Can we get a divorce in Heaven too?”

St. Peter turns red, throws his clipboard down and yells:

“Oh COME ON! It took me three months to find a priest up here—do you have any idea how long it’ll take to find a LAWYER?!”
