One evening, a man was relaxing at home, watching TV and snacking on peanuts.

He had a habit of tossing them in the air and catching them in his mouth.

As he was mid-catch, his wife asked him a question. He turned to answer her, and just like that, a peanut fell into his ear.

He tried everything to get it out, but only managed to push it in further. Frustrated, he called his wife for help, and together they spent hours attempting to remove it, but with no success.

Eventually, they decided it was time to go to the hospital.

Just as they were heading out the door, their daughter came home with her date.

After hearing about the situation, the young man confidently said he could help.

He asked the father to sit down, then pressed two fingers against his nose and told him to blow hard.

The father followed his instructions, and sure enough, the peanut shot out of his ear like a rocket!

The mother and daughter cheered with joy, thanking the young man profusely.

The young man brushed it off, saying it was no big deal, and the daughter invited him into the kitchen for a snack.

As soon as they were out of earshot, the mother turned to the father and said,
“Isn’t he brilliant? What do you think he’ll become when he grows up?”

The father, without missing a beat, replied,
“Judging by the smell of his fingers, our son-in-law!”
