One day, Nancy received some terrible news—her beloved grandfather had passed away. She immediately rushed to her grandparents’ house to comfort her 92-year-old grandmother.
When she asked how her grandfather died, her grandmother replied, “It was a heart attack. He got it while we were… making love on Saturday morning.”
Shocked, Nancy said, “Grandma, at your age? That’s probably way too dangerous!”
Her grandmother simply shook her head. “Oh no, darling. Many years ago, we figured out the perfect timing. We’d wait for the church bells to ring—just the right rhythm. Nice and slow. In on the ‘Ding,’ out on the ‘Dong.’ Nothing too strenuous.”
She paused, wiped away a tear, and then added, “And if that blasted ice cream truck hadn’t come around the corner, he’d still be here today!”
