A husband and wife were having a friendly argument about who should brew the morning coffee. The wife said, “You should do it because you get up first.”
The husband replied, “No, you should do it because you make it better.”
They went back and forth like this for a while until the husband finally said, “I’ll tell you what, darling. How about we settle this the old-fashioned way? The one who talks first in the morning makes the coffee.”
The wife agreed, and they went to sleep.
The next morning, the wife woke up first, but she decided to stay quiet and see if her husband would speak first. Minutes turned into hours, and she was getting impatient.
Finally, she couldn’t take it anymore. She nudged her husband and said, “Honey, are you awake?”
The husband replied, “Yes, dear, I am. So, does that mean you’re making the coffee this morning?”
In the battle of wits, it seems like the husband won this round!
